This 80’s home in Southern Ontario needed a complete overhaul. Ruhl Builds worked with the owners to define a style and architectural concept and then completed a full interior and exterior renovation. The comprehensive exterior renovation included construction of new cedar decks, replacement of windows and siding, foundation waterproofing and drainage improvements. Interior renovations included insulation upgrades, remodeling kitchen and bathrooms, new flooring, fireplaces, interior doors and trim, stair, and stair railing replacement

This '70s home in Vancouver needed a complete overhaul. Ruhl Builds worked with the owners to define a style and concept and then completed a renovation in two phases. A comprehensive exterior renovation included pool refinishing, replacement of hardscaping, construction of composite decks and the introduction of drainage improvements. Interior renovations included the replacement of old multi-unit sliding doors with a Nana Wall, new floors, stair railings and fireplace features.

Ruhl Builds worked with the owners to design and remodel an old rural train station building. Maintaining original features was a priority which challenged us in design and construction. Custom milled trim, salvaged and site finished floors, and repairs to the existing ticket booth all added up to preserve the essence of this old building.

Spaces in this '70's bungalow were compartmentalized, small and dark. In combination with completing a full kitchen and living room renovation, Ruhl Builds restructured the main floor walls to open the kitchen to adjacent living areas to create an open, inviting, integrated kitchen/living space.

The main bathroom in this century house needed an update. Ruhl Builds worked with the owners to come up with a cool, functional, customized space that incorporated something for everyone.

The bathrooms in this '90's build were at the end of their service life. Ruhl Builds worked with the owners to design and build new bathrooms that provided a cohesive design thread throughout the house while meeting functional goals.

Development of outdoor spaces became a priority for this family as a result of COVID-19. We worked together to develop a multi-purpose screened-in yard structure with storm windows to extend use into cooler seasons. A composite deck adds low maintenance functionality right outside the kitchen door.

The owners of this century house needed additional living space and a deck to access their sloping yard. In order to minimize cost, this structure was built over piers which eliminate the need for a basement.
